Bryan Miller - Principal
Bryan Miller started Brasstown Strategies in 2009. He is a public affairs professional with fourteen years of experience leading teams and leveraging networks to achieve results including fostering strategic partnerships with key leaders from the community, government, private sector, and philanthropy.
Bryan has managed client matters in Georgia before the Governor, the General Assembly, the Speaker of the House, the Secretary of State, the Attorney General, the Board of Regents and Chancellor of the University System of Georgia, the Technical College System of Georgia, the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning, the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the Georgia Department of Agriculture, the Georgia Department of Public Safety, and the Georgia Lottery Corporation.
Bryan has developed and led statewide client initiatives involving some of the highest-level officials in state and federal government. These include three former U.S. presidents, members of the U.S. House and U.S. Senate, seven governors of Georgia, nationally recognized political strategists and journalists, members of the Georgia legislature, and county and municipal government officials across Georgia.
Bryan has managed the public and political affairs of former Governor and U.S. Senator Zell Miller and former First Lady Shirley Miller. Bryan has been a committee aide and deputy messenger in the Georgia House of Representatives, a legislative intern in the Office of Georgia House Speaker David Ralston, and a legal intern at the Georgia Court of Appeals for Judge Yvette Miller.
Bryan is the former executive chairman of the Zell Miller Foundation, a nonprofit he founded in collaboration with Zell and Shirley Miller. Under his leadership, Bryan led the organization through a successful seven figure capacity building campaign. The foundation grew rapidly, creating revenue generating programs that promoted education, leadership, and public service. These programs included a leadership institute, an annual forum, an annual legacy gala, and hundreds of college scholarships.
Bryan earned a J.D. from Mercer University and a B.S. in Business and Public Policy from Young Harris College. He resides in Watkinsville, Georgia with his wife and son.
Chase Duvall - General Counsel
Chase Duvall serves as General Counsel for Brasstown Strategies. Chase holds an LL.M. in Taxation from the Boston University School of Law, and a J.D. from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. Prior to his legal education, Chase earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Kennesaw State University. Beyond his professional pursuits, Chase enjoys spending quality time with his family, trying new restaurants, traveling, attending church, and playing golf. Chase lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife, son, and two dogs.
Chase has a wealth of business, tax, and legal experience gained from his roles at Chick-fil-A Corporate, PricewaterhouseCoopers ("PwC"), The Home Depot Corporate, and regional law firms, Chase has honed his skills in handling a diverse range of legal matters and his experience adds significant value in his work for Brasstown Strategies.
